About

The Club delivers a Football Development Programme in collaboration with Hertford Regional College which will be offering an educational qualification for students aged between 16 and 19.

Students at the Broxbourne Campus in Hertfordshire will be part of an elite football programme, where coaching from qualified and experienced Tottenham Hotspur Academy coaches will be provided to inspire players to reach their full potential. This highly competitive practical programme will be coupled with a Level 2 or a Level 3 qualification programme of study provided by Hertford Regional College to prepare students for the world beyond further education.

Students will receive daily training in preparation for matches in a highly contested football league. Additionally, students enrolled on the course will also benefit from allocated use of The Club's top of the range training facilities at Hotspur Way in Enfield, opportunities to play against selected UK and international teams in league and cup competitions, and a chance to gain extra qualifications such as first aid and child protection.

Case Study

Tim Strike & Tom Prentice

Two students at the HRC and Tottenham Hotspur Football Development Centre, Tim Strike and Tom Prentice, completed a college work placement with the Kit and Equipment Department last season. The students were based at the state-of-the-art Training Centre in Enfield two days a week for the 2018-19 season, where they were responsible for setting up and cleaning equipment, feeding balls and support First Team training. This exclusive opportunity provided the students with exposure to working in a professional, elite football environment, which allowed them to enhance their CVs and put them in good stead for the future.

We are delighted to be in partnership with HRC and hope to help students reach their full potential.
