Forward Rosella Ayane joined us from Bristol City in July, 2019.

She helped City to a sixth-place finish in the Women's Super League in 2018/19 in what was her second spell with them, having initially spent time on loan there from Chelsea in 2016.

After rising through the ranks with the Blues, she also had loan spells at Millwall and Everton before moving to Cypriot First Division side Apollon Limassol for the 2017/18 campaign, where she registered an astonishing 19 goals in 19 games in all competitions.

During her first season here at Spurs in 2019/20, she made 16 appearances in all competitions, scoring once in a Continental League Cup tie at Chelsea in November, 2019.

She scored twice in 25 appearances in all competitions in 2020/21.

In 2021/22, she scored four goals in 24 games in all competitions.

Having represented England at Under-17 and Under-19 levels, Rosella made her senior international debut for Morocco against Mali in June, 2021, marking the occasion with a goal and an assist.

In July, 2022, Ayane scored the winning penalty of Morocco’s semi-final of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations against Nigeria, sending her nation to the final for the first time ever.
