Hungary international Anna Csiki joined us in September, 2024 from BK Hacken.
The 24-year-old began her senior career at Ferencvaros, where she made her senior debut at the 16-years-old. During her time in Budapest, she won the Hungarian top flight twice, while claiming the Hungarian Women’s Cup three times.
The midfielder then moved to Sweden to join Goteborg FC – now known as BK Häcken – midway through the 2020 campaign and has since made 89 appearances during her time with the Club, scoring nine goals.
In her four-year spell in Gothenburg, Sweden, she was part of the side that won the Damallsvenskan (Swedish top flight) in 2020 before claiming more silverware in the following campaign, winning the Swedish Cup after beating Eskilstuna United 3-0 in the final. She featured regularly in their UEFA Women’s Champions League campaigns and helped them to reach the quarter-finals of the competition last term - their best run since 2013.
On the international stage, Anna was a regular for Hungary at Under-17 and Under-19 level before making her senior debut in September, 2017. She has since earned 40 caps for her country and scored eight goals, recently netting in their 5-0 win over Azerbaijan back in July, 2024.
