Women's Academy

Our Women’s Academy programme is for girls in school years 8 to 13 and provides a full player development curriculum, incorporating technical and tactical coaching, games, medical access, sports science/strength and conditioning, analysis and lifestyle support whilst maintaining a dual career approach and philosophy.

The club is very proud to have 11 Academy Graduates to make competitive debuts for our First Team over the last four seasons as well as Lenna Gunning-Williams being our first Academy graduate to sign a professional contract.

Key programme features: 

  • Minimum 3 training sessions per week (age dependent) - including technical, tactical and strength and conditioning sessions.
  • Educational Workshops including nutrition and psychology sessions.
  • Day release offering at U16.
  • Sports Therapist present at every training session
  • Games programme – playing against boys and girls teams
  • Trips, Tours and Tournaments during school holidays
  • Opportunities to gain coaching qualifications.
  • Flexibility on education courses (for year 12 & 13 students)
  • Host Family & Accommodation available
  • U16s and U21 to compete in FA Youth Cup
  • U21’s to compete in PGA League

The aim of our Women’s Academy Programme is to provide players from Tottenham and surrounding areas with an extensive programme which will provide support to them in both their sporting and academic aspirations. In addition to players gaining opportunities with our own women’s First Team, we also connect with other Clubs across Tiers 1 – 5 of the women’s pathway.
