Player Season Stats

Sergio Reguilón joined us from Real Madrid in September, 2020.

In August, 2022, Sergio joined La Liga side Atletico Madrid on loan for the 2022/23 campaign, where made 12 appearances in all competitions.

On September 1, 2023, he joined Manchester United on loan, making 12 appearances for them before returning to us in January, 2024, subsequently joining Brentford on loan for the remainder of the campaign.

A product of the youth system at the Bernabeu, Sergio spent two separate spells on loan at Spanish Segunda División B side UD Logroñés between 2015 and 2017 before returning to become a regular for Real Madrid's 'Castilla' second-string team, also in Segunda División B, in 2017/18, playing a number of games as their captain.

He made his first team debut for Real against CSKA Moscow in the UEFA Champions League in October, 2018, before earning his La Liga debut against Real Valladolid the following month and remained a regular member of their matchday squad during the 2018/19 season as Los Blancos won the FIFA Club World Cup. He made 22 appearances for Real Madrid in total.

Sergio impressed during a season-long loan at Sevilla in 2019/20, where he made 38 appearances in all competitions and scored three goals as they won the UEFA Europa League and finished fourth in La Liga. He played five times in Sevilla's European triumph, starting the final as they beat Internazionale Milano 3-2 in Cologne and earning a place in the UEFA Europa League Squad of the Season.

'Reggy' was a big hit in his first season with us, his boundless energy, enthusiasm and regular raids down the left flank one of the features of the 2020/21 campaign. He made 36 appearances in all competitions, including an impressive 26 starts in his debut season in the Premier League. He also claimed three assists in the Premier League.

Sergio's performances during 2019/20 earned him a first call-up for the Spanish national team in October, 2019, and he won his first cap in September, 2020, when he started Spain's 4–0 win over Ukraine in the 2020/21 UEFA Nations League. At the end of the 2021/22 season, he had six senior caps to his name.

The left-sided defender started the 2021/22 season at left-back, and then left wing-back in Antonio Conte's 3-4-3 system. He was in flying form when he scored his first Spurs goal and the winner against Leeds United in Antonio's first home Premier League match in November, but it proved to be an up-and-down season for 'Reggy' due to injury, the final issue ending his season early in April.

He added another goal in our 5-0 win against Everton in March on his way to 25 appearances in the Premier League and 31 in total in 2021/22, taking his tally to 67 in all competitions in his two seasons at the Club.
