Alejo Veliz

Alejo Veliz joined us from Rosario Central in August, 2023.

Making his debut off the bench in our dramatic late win against Liverpool on 30 September, 2023, the young forward from Gödeken, Argentina, made five appearances for us in total in his debut season, all as substitute in the Premier League, and scored his first goal for the club against Brighton on 28 December, 2023.

He joined Sevilla on loan for the rest of the 2023/24 campaign in February, 2024 and made six substitute appearances for the Spanish side.

Alejo joined Rosario at Under-20 level and progressed to make his first team debut in July, 2021. The attacker made a total of 62 appearances for the Primera Division side in all competitions, scoring 19 times.

On the international stage, Alejo featured for Argentina at the FIFA Under-20 World Cup and Under-20 South American Championship in 2023.
