‘Let’s show our quality at City’ - Moussa

Moussa Sissoko feels the team can draw on the fine performance against Manchester City in November as we lock horns with Pep Guardiola’s men again on Saturday.
We were outstanding in the corresponding fixture at home - a 2-0 victory on 21 November - and matched that display in beating Arsenal by the same scoreline two weeks later.
Now we’ll need to do it again as we face a City side on a crest of a wave in Saturday’s 5.30pm kick-off - they made it 15 wins on the spin by beating Swansea in the FA Cup on Wednesday.
Later that night, we suffered a heartbreaking loss in a 5-4 thriller at Everton, but Moussa’s message is simple, ‘onto the next one’...
We have to give everything, have no regrets and if we do that, we will be close to achieving what we want.
“We should have won at Everton, and we’re all disappointed, but at the same time we have to keep our heads up because we have a massive game on Saturday,” said the French midfielder. “We can’t think too much about Everton.
“We have to be focussed on the next one, that’s City, and we know we have to win that game to be closer to the top four. It’s going to be tough, but we know we can do it because we’ve showed it in many, many games, so let’s go there with a positive attitude and try to show our quality.”
Reminded of November’s win - goals from Heung-Min Son and Giovani Lo Celso - Moussa added: “That means we can beat one of the best teams in the world and we just have to believe in our quality. We know it’s going to be tough, they haven’t lost many games and they are top of the league, so it’s going to be a big battle as always, but, again, we have to believe in our quality.”
