Lo Celso ready to face "out of this world" Aguero

Giovani Lo Celso is relishing the challenge of facing fellow countryman Sergio Aguero when we lock horns with Manchester City on Sunday.
Summer arrival Gio has been in fine form of late and this week saw his loan from Real Betis made into a permanent transfer, the dynamic midfielder signing a contract with us until 2025.
Now he’s looking forward to meeting the team against which he made his Spurs debut back in August – and in particular, Argentine international hotshot Aguero.
“With him I have a good relationship,” smiled Gio ahead of the weekend’s clash at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
“I’ve shared many times with him in our national team and he’s amazing, out of this world. You can see that in every game, what he’s capable of, the records that he’s accomplished in his career – and in a difficult league like this one. Now it’s time to face him as a rival.”
Over the last couple of games we did very good things but there were details that cost us.
City arrive second in the table, 19 points off leaders Liverpool, but 17 points ahead of fifth-placed Manchester United, who are level with us and Wolves on 34. They’ve won 11 of their last 14 games in all competitions.
“We know Manchester City is a great team that has been doing well over the last few years,” added Gio. “They play good football, but we also know that we have the talent to beat them.
“The team is doing well. In the last game (at Southampton) we drew in the last couple of minutes, but now we have to play at home.
“Over the last couple of games we did very good things but there were details that cost us some games and we need to improve those.
“Now we play at home in front of our fans. I think it’s going to be a great game and hopefully we can get the three points, which can be very important for us.”
Kick-off on Sunday is at 4.30pm.
