Spurs 5-0 Everton – the numbers

We made it back-to-back wins in the Premier League on Monday night as we put five past Everton without reply.

Returning to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for our first outing at our north London home in 22 days, we got off to the perfect start as an own goal from Michael Keane and a strike from Heung-Min Son put us two to the good with just 17 minutes on the clock. And when Harry Kane added a third, eight minutes before the break, we were cruising.

Sergio Reguilon then came off the bench at the start of the second half and made an immediate impact, scoring within 41 seconds of his arrival before Harry wrapped up the scoring 10 minutes later as he emphatically volleyed home our fifth.

50 – Matt Doherty reached his half century for Spurs, making his 50^th appearance for the Club in our win over Everton.

2 – Matt provided two assists for the first time in the Premier League and since May, 2016, when he did the same for Wolves against Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship.

4 – He has now provided four assists in the Premier League this season – only Heung-Min Son has recorded more for us.

4 – The Irishman has also been involved in four goals in his last two games for us (one scored, three assisted).

Harry’s hot streak

20 – Harry Kane’s strikes against Everton were his 19^th and 20^th goals of the season.

8 – It is the eighth season in a row that he has managed to hit the 20-goal milestone.

10 – The goals were also his 9^th and 10^th in the Premier League this season – it is the eighth consecutive campaign he has reached double figures in the top flight.

176 – His brace also saw him move up to sixth in the competition’s all-time top goalscorer chart, leapfrogging Thierry Henry (175) with 176 Premier League goals now to his name.

11 – In his last 12 games in the division, he has been involved in 11 goals (nine scored, two assisted).

13 – Our number 10’s impressive form against Everton continued with the striker having now scored 13 goals in his 14 league appearances against the Toffees. Only versus Leicester (16) has he scored more goals in the competition.

6 – Incredibly, it was the sixth time the forward has scored a brace against the Blues in the top flight. Only Alan Shearer – against Leeds – has scored 2+ goals in more games against a specific opponent in the competition (six braces, one hat-trick).

Toffees trounced

64 – Our 5-0 win was our biggest over Everton in 64 years - we defeated the Blues 10-4 in October, 1958 – Bill Nicholson’s first game in charge.

4 – It was the fourth time in the last four years that we have scored at least four goals in a game against the Toffees.

107 – We have now earned 107 points from our Premier League matches against Everton - more than we have versus any other side in the competition.

95 – We have also scored 95 goals against the Toffees in the Premier League – again more than against any other side in the competition.
