We claimed top spot of Group J in our final Europa League group stage outing on Thursday night, as we defeated Royal Antwerp 2-0 in north London.
After a goalless first half, we finally found a way past a disciplined Antwerp side on 57 minutes as Carlos Vinicius tapped home the rebound from Gareth Bale’s saved free-kick. That advantage was then doubled 14 minutes later as Giovani Lo Celso flicked home Harry Kane’s through ball, securing all three points.
