Robert Vilahamn has confirmed that Bethany England will miss Sunday's Barclays Women's Super League clash with Brighton & Hove Albion.

Our skipper and our leading goalscorer this term, the forward has picked up a quad injury and thus will be unavailable for selection ahead of the clash at Brisbane Road.

Speaking to the media in his pre-match press conference on Friday, Head Coach Robert revealed, "Bethany will be out because of a quad issue."

Robert also confirmed that Charlotte Grant will also be unavailable for the game after she suffered a concussion.

Despite being forced off early with a twisted ankle in our narrow WSL defeat to Manchester City, Robert reported that Martha Thomas is fit for the visit of the Seagulls.

"She had a few days off, but she has trained the whole week so there’s no problem for her," Our Head Coach said.

Clare Hunt will be back in contention for the game after she missed the loss to City through suspension.

Kit Graham is back out on the grass as she continues her recovery from an ACL injury, but remains sidelined.
