Travel information | Spurs vs AFC Bournemouth
Wed 05 March 2025, 12:30|
Tottenham Hotspur
If you’re attending our Premier League game against AFC Bournemouth at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday (kick-off 2pm), please take note of the following travel information, which includes details of substantial disruption across the Greater Anglia network…
Important information
Due to planned engineering work, Northumberland Park station will be closed on Sunday, though Greater Anglia services will still call at Tottenham Hale, terminating at Liverpool Street.
Additionally, Greater Anglia services will not operate north of Broxbourne to either Stansted Airport, Hertford East or Audley End. Replacement bus services will be in operation between these locations.
On the TfL network, the Piccadilly line will be closed between Wood Green and Cockfosters, while extensive Elizabeth line closures will be in place until 1pm.
Frequent services are anticipated through White Hart Lane, Seven Sisters and Tottenham Hale before and after the game, though Tottenham Hale is expected to be busier than normal due to the closure of Northumberland Park.
Supporters affected by the travel disruption are strongly encouraged to consider our Regional Coach Service.
Supporters can stay up to date with important matchday information by following our new Spurs Matchday Info channel on WhatsApp. The latest travel news is also available via TfL.gov.uk and nationalrail.co.uk.

Reminder - Regional Coach service available
Our Regional Coach service, operating from a number of destinations, including new routes within Spurs supporter heartlands, is available for all home matches.
We strongly encourage supporters affected by Sunday’s travel disruption to consider making use of the Regional Coach Service when planning their alternative travel.
Stations
Due to planned engineering work, Northumberland Park station will be closed on Sunday. Greater Anglia services will continue to call at Tottenham Hale and will start/terminate at Liverpool Street and Broxbourne/Cheshunt.
Bruce Grove and Silver Street stations will be closed for two hours post-match.
White Hart Lane
Four trains per hour are expected to call at White Hart Lane in both directions before and after the game.
If you’re travelling to Liverpool Street post-match, please note that Tottenham Hale will have a much higher train capacity than White Hart Lane. The journey time should also be shorter as there are fewer stops on the Greater Anglia services.
White Hart Lane is a fully accessible station.
Northumberland Park
Northumberland Park station will be closed on Sunday due to planned engineering works. Greater Anglia services will continue to operate through Tottenham Hale, though no train services will run north of Broxbourne.
Tottenham Hale – and changes to Greater Anglia services
Tottenham Hale is a fully accessible station with access to both Victoria line and Greater Anglia services. As Northumberland Park station will be closed on Sunday, Tottenham Hale is expected to be busier than normal – please allow extra time for queues.
Greater Anglia will be running 8 trains per hour in each direction through Tottenham Hale. Due to engineering works, these services will start/terminate at Liverpool Street and Cheshunt/Broxbourne.
Supporters who would ordinarily travel from north of Broxbourne will be able to make use of bus replacement services which will be in operation. Buses to and from Broxbourne will run every 30 minutes from Hertford East and Audley End respectively, while buses between Broxbourne and Stansted Airport will operate every 15 minutes. Alternatively, Broxbourne and Cheshunt stations both offer paid parking facilities which can be booked in advance.
Supporters using the Victoria line, including wheelchair users and those with limited mobility, are advised to use Tottenham Hale rather than Seven Sisters as it is a shorter journey to the stadium. Victoria line services will operate every 2-3 minutes in each direction before and after the game.
Seven Sisters
Victoria line services will be operating in both directions every 2-3 minutes before and after the game.
Pre-match, a diversion route will be in place at Birstall Road for pedestrians entering Seven Sisters station for interchange between the Victoria line and London Overground services. This is to avoid congestion on the northbound platform.
Queue management
Queue management systems will be in place at all stations for the safety of all passengers and staff.
At each station, the queue management staff are in contact with the Station Managers who will confirm when platforms are clear to enable more passengers to enter the station. For the safety of all passengers and staff, supporters are kindly asked to cooperate with station staff and always follow their instructions.
Shuttle buses
The Club operates a free Shuttle Bus service from Wood Green (Piccadilly line) and Alexandra Palace (Great Northern) stations to the stadium.
The Piccadilly line will be closed between Wood Green and Cockfosters on Sunday, so please make alternative travel arrangements if you would normally travel to Wood Green via Tube.
The Great Northern line will operate at 5 trains per hour each way through Alexandra Palace before and after the match.
Cycling
If you plan to cycle to the stadium, bike stands are available at Tottenham Community Sports Centre and St Francis De Sales School, which are both located on the High Road. Dedicated bicycle parking is also available on-street around the stadium.
Although our Bag Policy still applies, stewards will be briefed regarding cyclists’ need to carry helmets, puncture kits and removable seats into the stadium.
Road closures
Please note, our major event day road closure measures will be in place.
TfL bus services will return to normal operation as soon as possible after the local road closures are lifted.
