While there was no action for our Women’s first team at the weekend, a number of our youngster on dual registrations impressed at their respective clubs on Sunday.
Under-21s player Erin Radbourne played an integral part in Chesham United’s 1-0 win over Dulwich Hamlet on Sunday afternoon in the FA Women’s National League Division One South East.
Making her fifth appearance for the Generals since joining on a dual registration in January, the young shot stopper was in inspirational form at the Meadow to help Chesham earn a valuable three points in their campaign.
As the game entered the final two minutes of normal time - and still goalless thanks to a number of key saves from Erin in the first half - the visitors were awarded a penalty. Tash Stephens stepped up to take the spot-kick, but she saw her effort saved superbly by Erin – and that would turn out to be a crucial moment in the clash.
Although the game was deep into stoppage time, there was still time for even more drama as Chesham’s Gemma Fraser found the back of the net to secure an impressive win.
Well done to our @3WayDisplays Player of the Match today Erin Radbourne. A penalty save 🧤, brilliant handling & distribution and a clean sheet. Great job! 💥 pic.twitter.com/GXKOlSxbfW

Erin’s heroics throughout the game saw her named Player of the Match - her second since securing a move to the club - while it’s her third clean sheet in five games for Chesham.
The result moves Chesham within touching distance of securing safety in the FAWNL South East Division, sitting on 18 points in 10th place, nine points above the relegation zone.
Emily McMaster
Emily McMaster’s Maidenhead United came from behind to beat Bristol Rovers 2-1 in the FAWNL Division South West.
Having fallen behind in the early stages of the game, Emily stepped up to net the equaliser in the game - her first senior goal - just before the half hour mark as she volleyed home from inside the box after quite a scramble from a corner.

She went onto complete the full 90 minutes in her fifth appearance for the club, with Macey Walters converting from the spot to earn Maidenhead United a 2-1 win.
The result sees Maidenhead maintain their spot in eighth on 20 points, moving seven points clear of the relegation zone.
Eloise Hall
AFC Bournemouth maintained their 100 per cent record in the FAWNL South West Division after a hard-fought 2-0 win over Abingdon United, with Eloise Hall coming on as a substitute in the second half.
Second-half strikes from Katie James and Ali Hall was enough for the Cherries to record their 16th victory of the campaign, while also preserving a clean sheet for the 13th consecutive league game – last conceding a goal back in September.
Having scored three goals in her last six appearances, Eloise stepped off the bench with eight minutes remaining on the clock.
