Eloise Hall netted a perfect hat-trick for AFC Bournemouth on Sunday afternoon as they secured a 5-2 win over Worthing in the FA Women’s National League Division One South West.

Having secured the league title last weekend, the Cherries maintained their impressive 100 per cent record in the competition with our young striker, who joined on a dual registration in January, at the heart of the emphatic win at Woodside Road.

Earning just her second start of the campaign, it took just 11 minutes for Hall to break the deadlock in the contest as she converted from close range with her left foot before Kelci Bowers added a second just two minutes later.

Despite the hosts pulling a goal back, Bournemouth reinstated their two-goal advantage through McGuinness before Hall grabbed her second of the game, tapping home Alisha Buckingham’s low cross with her right foot this time.

Hall completed her perfect hat-trick just before the hour mark, beating the Worthing shot stopper to Bowers’ ball forward and heading into an empty net, and could have added a fourth shortly after when she sent her header narrowly over the crossbar.

Her treble for Bournemouth sees us her take her goal tally to six goals in 10 games since making the move to the south coast.

McMaster & Dennis feature

Elsewhere, Emily McMaster started for Maidenhead United as they were defeated 1-0 by Bournemouth Sports on Sunday.

The defender completed the full 90 minutes at Fawcetts Field Sports Ground as the hosts grabbed the winner in the final 10 minutes of the contest.

Having also joined the Magpies on a dual registration in January, Emily has made 10 appearances for the FAWNL Division One South West side.

Araya Dennis was a second half substitute for Southampton as they suffered a 1-0 loss to Blackburn Rovers in the FA Women’s Championship on Saturday.

After Rovers fired into the lead in the 59-minute, Araya was introduced two minutes later, replacing Georgia Mullett, but she couldn’t inspire a comeback for the Saints at Ewood Park.

That result sees Southampton remain eighth in the table, while it was Araya’s sixth appearances of the season for the south coast side.
