Molly Bartrip became a Spurs centurion on Sunday!

Starting in the Barclays Women’s Super League  1-0 defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion at Brisbane Road, the defender made her 100th appearance for Spurs.

Having re-joined us in July, 2021, after a short spell in our younger age groups, Molly featured regularly in her first two campaigns with us, playing in every single game in the WSL, notably during the 2022/23 campaign when we finished fifth – the highest league position we have achieved in England’s top flight to date.

And the 28-year-old has been an ever-present in our starting XI so far this term – just her and Ashleigh Neville to have featured in every game this campaign.

While she has already surpassed a century of appearances in the WSL – achieved in April, 2023 - this was her 78th game in our colours in the competition – only Jess Naz (78) and ‘Ash’ (101) have played in more.

In total, she has also now played in six FA Cup games, featuring in our historic run to the final last season, and the other 16 coming in the Women’s League Cup.

Now at 100 appearances for the Club, the vice co-captain is just one of four players in the current squad to have reached the milestone after Ash, Rosella and Jess.
