Youngster's 45-yard screamer takes February's Goal of the Month award

Reiss Elliott-Parris' sensational 45-yard strike has taken February's Goal of the Month award by storm.

Coming for our Under-18s in their 5-3 win at Brighton & Hove Albion at the start of the month, the forward put the cherry on the icing on the top of the cake on the victory as he bagged our fifth from the half-way line.

After a superbly executed tackle from Jun'ai Byfield released the ball for the 17-year-old, he edged edged into the Seagulls half before clipping the ball towards goal, over the goalkeeper and into the back of the net at Brighton's training centre.

That was his fifth goal of the campaign - now six - as he enjoys his first term in our Academy.

The goal took 48 per cent of the vote in a poll run across our website and official app, with Reiss becoming the first Academy player to win the award this campaign.
