It was a great weekend for Alfie Dorrington and Yang Min-Hyeok as the pair grabbed their first goals of their respective loan spells.

Alfie - on loan at Aberdeen - bagged his first senior goal while Yang - who is currently with QPR - fired home his first goal in English football.

In League One, Leyton Orient made it back-to-back wins as Josh Keeley kept his 14th clean sheet of the season and in League Two George Abbott picked up a crucial win with Notts County.

In non-league Dylan Thompson earned a sixth clean clean sheet in nine games with Barton Rovers, whilst Alejo Veliz picked up a crucial point for Espanyol against Atletico Madrid in their fight for survival in La Liga.

Yang Min-Hyeok & Ashley Phillips

Yang and Ash went head-to-head at the Bet365 Stadium on Saturday with the former scoring his first goal for QPR and the latter emerging victorious for Stoke City via a 3-1 scoreline.

Bae Jun-Ho, Junior Tchamadeu and Million Manhoef fired the Potters into a three-goal lead by the hour mark before Yang pulled one back for Rangers when he fired a left-footed shot across the keeper and into the bottom corner with 12 minutes to play. However, his side were unable to stage a late comeback.

Ash completed the full 90 for the 15th consecutive game - a run that has seen him record five clean sheets in that time - whilst Yang completed 45 minutes, having been part of a triple substitution at half-time by Marti Cifuentes.

The result moves Stoke up to 18th in the Championship table, four points clear of the relegation zone, whilst one point from their last five leaves QPR 15th, seven points above the bottom three.

Alfie Dorrington

Alfie bagged his first-ever senior goal on Saturday, firing home the leveller as loan side Aberdeen went on to win 4-1 against Motherwell.

An in-swinging corner was punched away by the 'Well goalkeeper before being reworked by the Dons. Central defensive partner Mats Knoester headed it down to Alfie, who cooly took a touch before slotting home from inside the penalty area.

Leighton Clarkson, Alexander Jensen and Kevin Nisbet were all also on target at a sold out Pittodrie in a victory that secured a top-six finish for Jimmy Thelin's side, who are now just a point behind third-placed Hibernian.

Alfie completed 91 minutes before being substituted in second-half stoppage time. He has now recorded back-to-back starts for the first time since joining the club in January.

Alejo Veliz

Espanyol picked up a crucial point in a 1-1 draw with title-chasing Atletico Madrid on Saturday as they continue to fight for survival in La Liga.

Cesar Azpilicueta fired Diego Simeone's side into a first-half lead thanks to a stunning volley from 25 yards, but the Periquitos drew level with their first shot on target in the second half.

Leandro Cabrera was pulled down as a free-kick was launched into the area. The referee awarded a penalty and Javi Puado stepped up on his 200th appearance for the club and converted the spot-kick high to Jan Oblak's right.

Alejo completed 45 minutes for Manolo Gonzalez's side, who remain 15th, two points and two places above the bottom three.

Josh Keeley & Jamie Donley

Leyton Orient were in action all the way back on Thursday, picking up an important 1-0 victory over Stevenage to keep their hopes of a play-off place alive.

Charlie Kelman's 12th minute strike was enough to take all three points at Brisbane Road as Josh Keeley and his defence earned their 14th clean sheet in the league this season.

Jamie Donley completed 20 minutes after coming on as a second-half substitute with Orient recording back-to-back wins for the first time since mid-February.

The victory means Orient remain ninth, three points behind the play-off places with eight games to go in League One.

George Abbott

Notts County picked up an important three points on Saturday, winning 2-0 away at Newport County in League Two.

Charlie Whitaker bagged a brace for Stuart Maynard's side, who are looking to steady the ship having won just one of their last six before the weekend.

George started for the 21st consecutive game and completed the full 90 at Rodney Parade as his side sit sixth in the table, holding a seven-point buffer to those sides chasing the play-off places while they are just two points behind the automatic promotion places.

Dylan Thompson

Under-18s goalkeeper Dylan Thompson earned a clean sheet as Barton Rovers earned a 0-0 draw with Thame United on Saturday.

The youngster, who has extended his stay with the Rovers until the end of the season, has now recorded six clean sheets in nine games since joining the club at the start of February.

The result leaves the side fourth in the Southern League Division One Central table, five points clear of Thame, who are outside the play-offs on goal difference.

Manor Solomon completed 72 minutes in Leeds United's 2-2 draw with Swansea at Elland Road on Saturday.

The Whites took the lead but were pegged back twice in a game that also saw Josh Tymon have a penalty saved for the visitors.

The draw means that Daniel Farke's side missed out on a chance to return to the top of the table, now sitting second in the Championship table, ahead of Burnley on goal difference and two points behind Sheffield United.

Alfie Devine and Westerlo have qualified for the European play-offs in the Belgian Pro League, eventually finishing ninth, five points clear of the relegation zone.

The teams that finished between 7th and 12th now battle it out in a round robin competition which begins with their respective points totals from the regular season being halved - the winner of that mini-table will then play a further play-off game against one of the top six for a chance to earn European football.

In the first game of this phase, Alfie completed 45 minutes in a 1-0 defeat to FCV Dender, coming on at half-time as Timmy Simons' side couldn't find a way back into the game.

Will Lankshear made a five-minute cameo appearance for West Bromwich Albion as Tony Mowbray's side fell to a late 1-0 defeat against Norwich City at Carrow Road.

The Baggies remain inside the play-offs on goal difference in sixth. Will has completed 152 minutes in seven league appearances to date.

Luca Gunter's Wealdstone were beaten 3-0 by promotion chasing York City at the LNER Community Stadium in the National League.

Luca started his 14th consecutive game, completing over 1,250 minutes so far, winning five times and picking up two clean sheets in that run.

Elliot Krasniqi picked up three points with Bishop's Stortford in a five-goal thriller with Biggleswade Town.

The Blues eventually ran out 3-2 winners after being pegged back twice after taking the lead, but sealed victory thanks to Nahum Melvin-Lambert's 89th minute strike.

His side's first away victory since Boxing Day was enough to relegate their hosts, whilst they sit seven points above the bottom four in 14th.
