Internationals | Assist for Mikey as England Under-19s topple Wales

Mikey Moore claimed an assist as England Under-19s toppled Wales 2-0 in their UEFA U19 qualification opener at Bangor City Stadium on Wednesday evening.

The winger came off the bench on 72 minutes and on 84 minutes, popped a pass between defenders for Chelsea's Shumaira Mheuka, who beat two defenders before firing home England's second goal. Manchester United's Ethan Wheatley opened the scoring 10 minutes into the second half.

England now take on Turkey on Saturday (11am) and then Portugal on Tuesday (7pm) - both fixtures at Deeside Stadium.

Meanwhile, Malachi Hardy and Jun’Ai Byfield both started as England Under-17s beat Israel 2-0 in UEFA U17 qualifying St. George’s Park on Wednesday. Lyon's Alejandro Rodriguez scored both goals. England next face Slovenia on Saturday (3pm) and then Northern Ireland on Tuesday (7pm).
