Gallery | Van de Ven, Solanke and Romero all train ahead of AZ Alkmaar trip

It was a beautiful sight at Hotspur Way today (Tuesday 4 March) as Micky van de Ven, Cristian Romero and Dominic Solanke all trained with the squad ahead of Thursday's Europa League clash with AZ Alkmaar.

For the first time in almost three months, the trio were all involved in a full session with Micky and Dom the latest long-term absentees to rejoin the squad.

Having seen Cristian return to training last week, his fellow centre half Micky is back involved as he continues his work to get back to full fitness. England international Dom has also linked up with squad again after a knee injury has kept him sidelined for our last nine matches.

Their return comes just days before the start of our Europa League knockout stage campaign with our round of 16 first-leg clash with AZ set for Thursday (kick-off 5.45pm UK).

Whether the trio will be available for the game though remains to be seen. Ange Postecoglou will be speaking to the media on Wednesday evening in Alkmaar.
