Ange Postecoglou has revealed that Timo Werner is likely to miss Wednesday's clash with Arsenal after he picked up an injury in Sunday's 3-0 win over Tamworth
Starting our FA Cup third round tie at the Lamb Ground, the Germany international played the opening 90 minutes of the tie which went all the way to extra-time before we scored three goals in the additional 30 minutes of action to secure a place in round four.
However, in his press conference on Tuesday afternoon ahead of the north London derby, Ange disclosed that the forward had actually picked up an injury in Staffordshire, confirming that he had injured his hamstring.
Full details of the issue are still to be confirmed though with results from the forward's scan still to come back, but it would appear likely that the injury will rule Timo out of the clash at the Emirates.
"The only one who picked up an injury was Timo," Ange revealed. "He picked up a hamstring injury. We're just waiting on the results for that scan.
Timo joins Guglielmo Vicario, Micky van de Ven, Cristian Romero, Ben Davies, Destiny Udogie, Rodrigo Bentancur and Wilson Odobert on the sidelines.
