Team news | Spurs vs West Ham (WLC) | Latest on Holdt

Olivia Holdt is not quite ready to be involved for our Women’s League Cup quarter-final tie against West Ham United on Wednesday evening, as revealed by Robert Vilahamn.

Having joined the Club earlier this month, the midfielder has spent the opening weeks at Hotspur Way building up her fitness after recently returning from an injury.

And although she has returned to full training this week, our Head Coach says the quarter-final clash at Brisbane Road is too soon for the Denmark International.

As reported earlier this week, Eveliina Summanen will be unavailable for tomorrow's game and is set to face a number of weeks on the sidelines after suffering a hamstring injury.

Meanwhile, Lize Kop will miss our meeting with the Hammers as the shot-stopper is cup-tied in the competition after featuring in the group phase for Leicester City

Asked about the latest team news in his pre-match press conference on Tuesday afternoon, he told the media: “Lize is not available for us as she’s not allowed to play for us in this competition.

“Olivia is still not ready to play but she’s back in full training now which is good.”

Forward Matilda Vinberg is expected to be back available after missing our return to Barclays Women's Super League action on Sunday.

Ella Morris and Kit Graham remain long-term absentees.
