Tue 07 January 2025, 13:10|Tottenham Hotspur
Ange Postecoglou has revealed that Mikey Moore could be involved in our Carabao Cup semi-final first leg against Liverpool on Wednesday night.
The young attacker last featured in a matchday squad against Aston Villa on 3 November where he remained an unused substitute and has been sidelined ever since through illness.
Our Head Coach confirmed that Mikey could feature amongst our substitutes ahead of a crunch tie against the Reds under the lights at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium (kick-off 8pm UK).
"Mikey potentially could be available to be on the bench," said Ange, speaking in his pre-match press conference on Tuesday (7 January).
In other team news, we will be without James Maddison and Pape Matar Sarr who are suspended for this first leg after picking up two yellow cards in previous rounds.
In terms of longer-term absentees, Guglielmo Vicario, Ben Davies, Cristian Romero, Destiny Udogie, Micky van de Ven, Richarlison and Wilson Odobert remain unavailable through injury.
