Ange Postecoglou has given an update on the progress of six of our injured players - Ben Davies, Mikey Moore, Richarlison, Cristian Romero, Micky van de Ven and Guglielmo Vicario.

Micky has been sidelined since 30 October, Mikey, Richy and Cuti have been out since November and Guglielmo fractured his ankle at City on 23 November. Ben picked up an hamstring issue at Bournemouth on 5 December and suffered a setback on his return last week.

Ange was asked in Friday's press conference ahead of Saturday's Premier League home clash against Newcastle (12.30pm) if the players were on schedule for their respective returns to action.

He replied: "Yes, at this stage, Richy and Mikey will be the next two off the rank, hopefully next week at some point, and then Ben, Micky and Romero around the same time, they're all slated to return at the back end of January."

Ange was also asked about Vic's progress. "He's on schedule, when it's a fracture, there's a set schedule for him being in a boot, how much weight bearing he can do, and then getting clearances along the way, so he's still on the same timeline of the end of February."
