Fifth-placed Newcastle United are the visitors to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday lunchtime as we embark on the second half of the Premier League season with our first game of the New Year.

What time is kick-off against Newcastle?

The match starts at 12.30pm UK time.

How can I watch the game?

The match is set to be televised live in the UK on TNT Sports 1.

You’ll be able to watch video highlights on SPURSPLAY from two hours after the final whistle, with a full match replay available on the same platform from midnight after the match.

What is the team news?

Destiny Udogie has joined our lengthy injury list after picking up a hamstring injury in our last match against Wolves.

An illness bug has also left a number of players needing to be assessed ahead of Saturday’s game.

Guglielmo Vicario, Ben Davies, Cristian Romero, Micky van de Ven, Wilson Odobert, Mikey Moore and Richarlison are our long-term absentees, although the latter two are closing in on a return.

Rodrigo Bentancur serves a one-match ban for an accumulation of yellow cards, but Djed Spence is available again after serving his suspension against Wolves.

As for the visitors, defender Sven Botman could return after an extended spell out injured.

Fabian Schar is suspended, while Jamaal Lascelles, Emil Krafth, Callum Wilson and Nick Pope remain out.

Who is the referee?

Saturday’s referee will be Andy Madley.

He will be assisted by Nick Hopton and Craig Taylor, while the fourth official will be Lewis Smith.

VAR duties will be handled by Chris Kavanagh along with assistant Sian Massey-Ellis.

What colours will the teams be playing in?

We’ll be wearing our home kit as usual with Lilywhite shirts, navy blue shorts and white socks, with our goalkeeper in yellow.

Newcastle will arrive in maroon and navy blue hooped shirts, white shorts and maroon socks with navy blue trim.

Their keeper will wear light blue.

What will the weather conditions be like?

It’s set to be cold in north London on Saturday, although it should stay dry for the game. Temperatures will be around three degrees.
