Callum Olusesi has become the latest player to officially earn a Legacy Number following his first team debut against Hoffenheim on Thursday night.
The 17-year-old central midfielder replaced James Maddison in the 89th minute of our Europa League victory in Germany.
He came on at a crucial time, just after the hosts had reduced their arrears for a second time in the game, and helped us to see out a vital win.
Named on the first team bench several times this season, it marked the first time the Academy product has entered the action and as such, earned him Legacy Number 892.
An initiative to recognise every player that has played their part in our history, our Legacy Numbers project was launched in October, 2023.
Prior to Callum, goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky was the most recent man to pick up a Legacy Number when he became our 891st player in our 1-0 Carabao Cup semi-final, first leg win over Liverpool earlier this month.
