"He told me to go for it" - Kinsky on mentor Radek Cerny's advice on Spurs move

Antonin Kinsky has revealed that former Spurs goalkeeper and his goalkeeping coach at Slavia Prague Radek Cerny encouraged him to make the move to north London.
An arrival from Slavia Prague on Sunday, our new number 31 was coached by our former man Radek Cerny during his four years with the Czech side and Antonin - known as Toni - has told us Radek said 'go for it' when he spoke to him about the offer from the Club.
Former goalkeeper Cerny spent three years with us, joining us initially on an 18-month loan in January 2005 from Slavia, but that was soon extended until 2008. In that time he made 28 appearances for us as he battled with Paul Robinson for the number one spot and was part of our side that lifted the League Cup in 2008.
He later turned out for QPR, spending five years at Loftus Road before returning to Slavia where he is now the goalkeeper coach and he is the man who has mentored Toni over the last four years in the Czech capital.
"I didn’t have so much time to speak about the move (to Spurs) with others because we had a break in the Czech league so the coach was probably on vacation at the time and I didn’t want to interrupt, but today I spoke with him," Antonin said as he explained the context around his chat with Radek.
"He told me just good words about Spurs. He told me as well to go for it.
"He’s a great guy. He was my goalkeeper coach in Slavia for four years when I wasn’t on loan. A great guy. A great coach and his opinion (on the move) was also an important thing for me."
