Europa League knockout stage play-off round draw details

Here's everything you need to know ahead of today's (Friday 31 January) UEFA Europa League knockout stage play-off round draw.
Last night, we sealed our progress into the round of 16 with a top-eight finish thanks to a 3-0 win over Elfsborg at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium - and that means we will not be directly involved in the draw today.
However, the teams we could face in the last 16 will learn their opponents ahead of February's play-off games and we will naturally be keeping a keen eye on their matches as we wait to discover our opponents for the next stage of the competition.
By finishing fourth in the league phase of the Europa League, we will face one of four teams.
As discovered last night, our potential opponents include Real Sociedad, Galatasaray, AZ Alkmaar and Midtjylland and those four teams will be pitted against each in the knockout play-off round.
Sociedad and Galatasaray are the seeded teams so will play the second leg at home while AZ and Midtjylland are the unseeded sides.
The unseeded sides will be drawn first, one taking a slot on the left hand side of the bracket with the other taking a space on the right hand side. The seeded sides will then be drawn, again with the first side drawn taking up the spot on the left side before the second takes its place on the right.
The draw will be made at the House of European Football in Nyon and will be streamed live on UEFA.com from 12noon (UK).
