Dog of the Match | Elfsborg

As the Club for dog lovers, we are featuring a ‘Dog of the Match’ at every home game throughout the season.

Members of Tottenham Hotspaw – our first-ever Official Supporters’ Club for dog lovers – have been posting pictures of their beloved pets on the group’s Facebook page for a chance for them to be featured on the stadium big screens ahead of kick-off and in the matchday programme.

This evening’s ‘Dog of the Match’ is Storm – a 7-year-old female Jack Russell/Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross breed. Storm loves lazy days at home curled up on the couch with occasional time out to sneakily steal someone’s socks or raid their pockets for treats! She lives with her dad Simon, mum Michelle and siblings Abigail and Robbie. The family lives in Bathgate, Scotland – Storm gets very jealous when the family make their long journeys to and from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium!

Alongside our ‘Dog of the Match’, we also profile rescue dogs currently up for adoption with All Dogs Matter – the fantastic charity partner of Tottenham Hotspaw – giving fans the chance to provide a forever home so badly needed.

Today, we are featuring Dexter – who came to the charity from Egypt, where he would have been a pet before sadly being abandoned. Dexter is an affectionate boy who loves his walks. He is looking for a new home with direct access to a garden, and with owners who have had dogs before. Dexter would prefer to live in a more rural area and get at least one long walk every day.
