Wed 08 January 2025, 19:00|Tottenham Hotspur

We can confirm the starting line-ups and substitutes for this evening's Carabao Cup semi-final first leg clash with Liverpool (8pm UK).

Ange Postecoglou has made four changes to the side that started Saturday's Premier League clash with Newcastle United.

There's a Spurs debutant tonight as Antonin Kinsky starts in between the sticks for us - he is our first debutant in a cup semi-final since fellow goalkeeper Ben Alnwick in the second leg of our 2009 League Cup semi-final clash with Burnley.

Elsewhere, Rodrigo Bentancur and Yves Bissouma return to the heart of midfield with Pape Matar Sarr suspended and Brennan Johnson beginning the game amongst the substitutes. Heung-Min Son also returns to the starting XI with Timo Werner on the substitutes bench.

There is also a first appearance in a matchday squad for Yang Min-Hyeok who arrived to start his Spurs journey earlier this month.

Starting XI: Kinsky, Pedro Porro, Dragusin, Gray, Spence, Bissouma, Bentancur, Bergvall, Kulusevski, Solanke, Son (C).

Substitutes: Austin, Dorrington, Reguilon, Olusesi, Moore, Min-Hyeok, Johnson, Werner, Lankshear.

Here's how the visitors line-up...

Starting XI: Alisson, Bradley, Van Dijk, Quansah, Tsimikas MacAllister, Jones, Gravenberch, Gakpo, Jota, Salah.

Substitutes: Kelleher, Endo, Konate, Diaz, Nunez, Chiesa, Elliott, Robertson, Alexander-Arnold.
