Ange Postecoglou has discussed what the next steps are for Yang Min-Hyeok as he acclimatises to life in north London.
A signing from Gangwon FC in the summer of 2024, the forward arrived in the UK last month after completing his debut professional season with his boyhood club before starting his journey with us at the turn of the year.
A star of the K-League in that first campaign, winning the Young Player of the Year award and being named in the competition's best XI, Ange Postecoglou has confirmed the 18-year-old will now be given time to settle into life in a new country and culture while he also adapts to his new club, team-mates, league and different challenges on the pitch.
Speaking to reporters in his pre-Newcastle United press conference on Friday afternoon, Ange was asked what the plan was for the youngster after he commenced his Spurs journey this week.
"He is still very young and has come in from the other side of the world where the level of competition is nowhere near what he is going to face here," Ange outlined.
"We will just give him time to adapt. It helps that Sonny is here and kind of helps him around when he is at the club and outside the club. We are just trying to get him settled early and give him the chance to settle in. No real plan, we will just take it as it goes with him and see how he settles in."
