New deal for Akhamrich

We are delighted to announce that Yusuf Akhamrich has signed a new contract with the Club, which runs until 2028.

The 19-year-old has been a regular for our Under-21s this season, featuring either on the left wing or occasionally at left-back. His memorable hat-trick against Middlesbrough a few weeks ago led to him being shortlisted for the Premier League 2 Player of the Month award for November.

Part of our Under-17 and Under-18 Premier League Cup-winning youth squad in 2022/23, Yusuf also won the Premier League 2 title with our Under-21s last season.

He signed his first professional deal midway through last term, while on the international stage he has represented Morocco at Under-20 level.
