Everything you need to know ahead of Watford FA Youth Cup clash
Mon 10 February 2025, 17:00|
Tottenham Hotspur
Our Under-18s travel to Vicarage Road to take on Watford in the FA Youth Cup in a 7pm kick-off (UK) on Thursday evening.
Here's everything you need to know ahead of our fifth round tie...
The Journeys
Entering in the third round, we've beaten both Middlesbrough and Grimsby to reach this stage of the competition for the fourth time in the last five seasons, having scored eight times across rounds three and four.
The Hornets have seen off Oxford United and Crewe Alexandra, last getting to this stage of the competition in 2022-23 when they were eliminated by Arsenal and made the semi-finals the year before, being knocked out by eventual winners Manchester United.
Ticket Information
Ticket prices for this fixture are £5 for adults and £1 for Under-18s.
Tickets for this match are on sale online in the Sir Elton John stand in blocks SEJ2 and SEJ3, and are still available.
Please note, there is no designated away end for this fixture.
What kit will we be in?
We'll be in our traditional Lilywhite shirts with navy blue sleeves, navy blue shorts and white socks, whilst our goalkeeper will be in our all-purple kit.
Watford will be in their familiar yellow shirts, red shorts and red socks.
Match Format
If the game is level at the end of the regulation 90 minutes, half an hour of extra-time will follow, split into two 15-minute halves.
If the sides can't be separated then the tie will be decided on penalties.
Each team will take five spot-kicks, and if they still can't be separated then sudden death will follow.
