Ange Postecoglou reports that Guglielmo Vicario is back and available for selection as we take on Manchester United in the Premier League at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday (4.30pm UK).

The goalkeeper has been out since fracturing his ankle in our 4-0 win against Manchester City at the Etihad back on 23 November. Incredibly, he completed that match, only for the news to follow on the Monday that he’d undergone surgery.

‘Vic’ has worked tirelessly to return as quickly as possible and, having missed 21 matches in all competitions during his recovery, is now back in the frame to face United.

Speaking to us on Friday morning, Ange told us: “Some of the lads who have been out for quite a while look like they’re in a good place now. Vic is probably the one who has come back ahead of schedule.

"He’s been training really well away from the team for two weeks. In the last 10 days he’s integrated back into the team and is fully into training, so he’s in a good place and that means he becomes available for us.”

There is further good news as both James Maddison and Destiny Udogie have both returned to training and are expected to be available for selection for the visit of United.

Brennan Johnson and Timo Werner are ever closer to being available for selection once again after they both returned to training this week. Meanwhile, there is positive news on Wilson Odobert as he has also returned to the grass but caution will be taken with his reintegration after a lengthy spell on the sidelines.

Cristian Romero, Micky van de Ven, Radu Dragusin, Dominic Solanke and Richarlison all remain sidelined for this weekend's game.
