Team news from Ipswich | Enciso out, Davis, Morsy back

Fri 21 February 2025, 17:00|Tottenham Hotspur

Kieran McKenna has confirmed that forward Julio Enciso will be sidelined for our Premier League clash against Ipswich at Portman Road on Saturday (3pm UK).

However, full-back Leif Davis and midfielder Sam Morsy are both available for selection after missing last week's draw against Aston Villa. Striker Sam Szmodics is also in the frame after an ankle injury.

Paraguay international Enciso was forced off at Villa Park, and, speaking to the media on Friday, Town boss McKenna said: "He's had scans. Thankfully it wasn’t any new significant damage, but it will need a period of time to settle down.

"Both Leif and Sam have trained today and will be available. Sam Szmodics has also trained so he should be available as well. Conor Chaplin trained with the group but is a little behind so we've got a decision to make on that one."

Cheidozie Ogbene and Wes Burns are Town's longer-term absentees.
