Hall on target again for Bournemouth

Mon 10 February 2025, 10:00|Tottenham Hotspur

Eloise Hall scored for a second consecutive weekend to help AFC Bournemouth maintain their unbeaten start with a 7-0 win over Bridgwater United on Sunday afternoon.

The young forward, who joined the Cherries on a dual-registration at the beginning of January, came off the bench at the break and, after just seven minutes on the pitch, she converted Ellie Strippel’s cross to make it 6-0 on the afternoon.

And in the closing stages of the game, Eloise rounded off the scoring in fantastic fashion as she met Katie James’ cross with a diving header to double her tally in the game.

Those two goals came after the 18-year-old netted her first goal for the Club last weekend in a 3-0 win over Keynsham Town, where she also came off the bench to make an instant impact.

It means Bournemouth maintain their 100 per cent winning record in the FA Women’s National League Division South East, making it 12 wins on the bounce.

Elsewhere, in the FA Women’s National League, defender Emily McMaster started and completed a full 90 minutes in Maidenhead United’s 2-1 defeat to Moneyfields.

Midfielder Elkie Bowyer made her first appearance for Ipswich Town after re-joining the Tractor Girls on a dual-registration last month.

Elkie was a late second half substitution as Ipswich were held to a 1-1 draw by Lewes, maintaining their unbeaten record in the FA Women’s National League Southern Premier Division.
