Danso assigned Legacy Number

Kevin Danso has been assigned his Legacy Number after making his debut for the Club in tonight’s Carabao Cup semi-final second leg clash with Liverpool.

Signed on loan from RC Lens on Sunday, the defender comes straight into the heart of our back line for his first appearance in Lilywhite, partnering Ben Davies at centre-half.

In doing so, he is the latest player to be assigned a Legacy Number at the Club, taking number 894.

An initiative to recognise every player that has played their part in our 142-year history, our Legacy Numbers project was launched in October, 2023, and has now seen 894 players honoured.
