It's a case of 'another game, another worldie' for Jamie Donley as the young forward continues to make headlines at Leyton Orient.

On loan with the O's for the season, Jamie has really found his feet in east London and has once more seen his name in lights as he stroked home a stunning volley on Tuesday night to help Orient defeat high-flying Wrexham at the Racecourse Ground.

With Charlie Kelman's low drive on the half-hour mark having cancelled out Oliver Rathbone's opener for the League One side, our Academy graduate found time and space to crash his side into the lead five minutes after the restart.

Picking up a position on the edge of the box as the Brisbane Road-based side had a corner, after a poor clearance, the 20-year-old showed composure and incredible technique to hit the ball flush on the volley, guiding it through a crowd of bodies and home.

The victory gave Orient a three-point buffer between them in sixth and Charlton, just outside the play-off places in seventh.

Jamie played the full 90 minutes in north Wales as did fellow loanee Josh Keeley. It was Jamie's 34th appearance of the campaign with him having scored six goals and provided six assists. It was Josh's 29th game of the campaign with him having earned 13 clean sheets in that time.

Jamie's stunning strike comes just days after the versatile forward was named the EFL Young Player of the Month award for January. In the opening month of the year, he scored three goals and provided three assists to scoop the award that honours the best youngster across the Championship, League One and League Two.

Earlier this month, he made national headlines when he scored from the half-way line against Manchester City in the FA Cup fourth round.
