Fri 07 February 2025, 11:30|Tottenham Hotspur

Supporters making the trip to Villa Park on Sunday for our FA Cup fourth round tie against Aston Villa should be aware of the following information...

A reminder that we kick-off at 5.35pm, with gates opening at 4.05pm.

Aston Villa’s guide for visiting supporters can be found here.

Getting to Villa Park

Train

For supporters travelling by train, Witton station is the nearest train station to Villa Park and is the nearest station to the visiting supporters’ section. In addition to regular services from Birmingham New Street, Witton station offers park & ride possibilities north of Villa Park on the Walsall line.

For full timetable information, please visit www.nationalrail.co.uk or  www.networkwestmidlands.com and check before you travel.

City centre shuttle bus

For travel to and from Birmingham city centre, an express city centre shuttle bus connects to Villa Park on matchdays. The pick-up point in Birmingham city centre is at Dudley Street, close to Birmingham New Street station. The shuttle buses can be used by home and away fans.

Return tickets for the shuttle bus are priced at £5, with single tickets available for £3. Buses run approximately every 15 minutes, starting three hours before kick-off, with the last pre-match departure towards Villa Park departing from Dudley Street approximately 30 minutes before kick-off. Services run back to Birmingham New Street at regular intervals for up to 90 minutes after the final whistle, departing from Grosvenor Road on the walking route towards Aston Station.

Car

For supporters arriving by car, please note that a Traffic Exclusion Zone (TEZ) is in operation around Villa Park on matchdays from two hours before kick-off, affecting Witton Lane and Trinity Road.

Residents’ parking zones are also in operation on matchdays. Fans should avoid parking in residential areas as this will incur a fine and should instead use official car parks.

Entering the stadium

As we have a larger ticket allocation for this match, the visiting supporters’ section will be spread across two stands. Our fans will be located across two tiers of the Doug Ellis Stand in the north-east corner of the stadium, as well as the Upper tier of the North Stand.

For fans located in the Doug Ellis Stand, Block Q is in the lower tier and can be accessed via turnstiles QW91-96. Block P is in the upper tier and can be accessed via turnstiles P87-89 and 64 steps that will take supporters to the upper concourse. Please note that no alcohol will be served in Block P due to the size of the concourse.

For fans located in the Upper North Stand, this is accessible via the North Stand Car Park through the Lions Gate off Witton Lane. The turnstiles are located at the top of a slight ramp where a search area is also located.

Supporters are asked to have tickets ready for inspection on arrival as a barrier system may be in place for an external ticket check before reaching turnstiles. This is in the interest of supporter safety and to ensure only supporters with valid tickets enter the stadium.

Accessibility

Aston Villa’s guide for disabled supporters can be found here...

Wheelchair spaces for visiting supporters are now located in the visitors’ section, pitchside in Block Q of the Doug Ellis Stand. Supporters using these spaces can enter the stadium via Gate 28, which is located next to the visitors’ ticket office and general admission turnstiles.

As these positions are pitchside, please note that there is little cover from inclement weather. Ponchos can be provided, subject to availability, and supporters are advised to check the weather forecast before travelling and plan accordingly.

Aston Villa have installed an access gate between wheelchair spaces and the front rows of seated areas to ensure the area around wheelchair using supporters is kept clear. Villa will also provide a stewarding presence in the area.

Ambulant supporters will be located in the front rows of Block Q of the Doug Ellis Stand and will encounter eight steps to reach the front row from the concourse area. Lifts are available via the accessible entrance at Gate 28 should they be required.

Accessible toilets are available and supporters without their own RADAR key will be able to request one from a steward.

Disabled Supporter Assistants will be present in accessible viewing areas along with Tottenham Hotspur Access Stewards should any support be required.

Fans who have pre-booked disabled parking are reminded that they will be required to reach Witton Lane before the road closures begin at 3.35pm.

Refreshments and sale of alcohol

Concessions in the visitors’ section will be serving food and hot and cold drinks. Please note, alcohol will only be served to fans located in the Lower Doug Ellis Stand and Upper North Stand. No alcohol will be served in the Upper Doug Ellis Stand due to the size of the concourse.

Bag Policy

Only bags of A4 size (297mm x 210mm) or smaller will be permitted into Villa Park and all bags will be examined by a steward. There are no bag storage facilities at the stadium and supporters are encouraged to leave bags at home where possible.

Cashless payments

Villa Park is a cashless stadium. All major debit and credit cards are accepted.

Matchday programmes

As it is not always possible to purchase programmes in concourse areas, Aston Villa recommend purchasing a programme before entering the stadium from the official programme kiosks located on Witton Lane.

Ticket Office

Supporters collecting tickets can do so from the Visitors’ Ticket Office on Witton Lane, opposite the away coach park. It will open one-and-a-half hours before kick-off and close just after kick-off.

Duplicate tickets must be requested by emailing ticket.office@tottenhamhotspur.com and will only be provided on production of valid photo ID.

Flags and banners

Flags and banners are permitted in the visitors’ section but must be approved in advance by emailing lee.preece@avfc.co.uk.

Supporters are also reminded of the Club’s own Flags and Banners Policy which is in effect at away matches.

Spurs respects

We are proud of our superb and loyal support at home and away.

We recognise that most supporters want to watch a football match and not listen to abusive or indecent language from the stands. Discriminatory or violent behaviour, including racist, homophobic, sexist or anti-disability shouting, chanting or actions, is unacceptable.

The Club reserves the right to indefinitely ban supporters found guilty of using discriminatory language or violent behaviour.

Reporting anti-social behaviour

To report an incident at Villa Park, please notify the nearest steward or text 60060 with a description and location of the incident as soon as possible.

Unauthorised use of tickets

Supporters are reminded that the unauthorised reselling or passing on of tickets is strictly prohibited. In line with the Club's Sanctions & Banning Policy, supporters selling away match tickets above face value will receive an indefinite ban and deduction of all Ticketing Points. Supporters passing on away match tickets equal to face value or less will receive a written warning and a 50 per cent reduction of Ticketing Points.

Supporters unable to attend

Supporters unable to attend the match should contact the Ticket Office as soon as possible. The Club will make best endeavours to reallocate tickets to other eligible supporters and issue refunds upon receipt of original tickets.
