As the Club for dog lovers, we are featuring a ‘Dog of the Match’ at every home game throughout the season.
Members of Tottenham Hotspaw - our first-ever Official Supporters’ Club for dog lovers - have been posting pictures of their beloved pets on the group’s Facebook page for a chance for them to be featured on the stadium big screens ahead of kick-off and in the matchday programme.
This weekend’s ‘Dogs of the Match’ are Dougal and Benny. Dougal is a mischievous 7-year-old Shih Tzu who likes to get his family’s attention by tapping them with his paw! Benny loves spending time with people and frequently celebrates with his family when Spurs score a goal. Their mum Michayla is a member of the Proud Lilywhites, our Official LGBTQ+ Supporters Association, and she regularly travels up to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with her two sons from their home in Dover.
Alongside our ‘Dog of the Match’, we also profile rescue dogs currently up for adoption with All Dogs Matter - the fantastic charity partner of Tottenham Hotspaw - giving fans the chance to provide a forever home so badly needed.
Today, we are featuring Domino - a crossbreed who came to the charity as a stray. He’s a gorgeous boy that loves walks and a game of fetch. He would like a home with a garden and with owners that have had dogs before and are around for a large portion of the day.
