Spence your Player of the Match after win over United

Djed Spence has been named your HSBC Player of the Match after his all-action display in our Premier League win over Manchester United on Sunday.

Starting his eighth Premier League game, the defender picked up his third Player of the Match award in four games thanks to votes from our supporters in a poll hosted exclusively on our official App.

Continuing to perform at an incredibly high level, Djed was a constant threat to our visitors as he always had the beating of Diogo Dalot and Noussair Mazraoui.

With great pace, physicality, a neat touch and the determination to get into the box, the former Nottingham Forest man seemingly looked encouraged at times to drive towards the United backline and wreak havoc.

Meanwhile, at the other end of the pitch, he was always in position to deal with the Red Devils' forays forward and that included a stunning block to deny Rasmus Hojlund in the late stages of the game as the Dane closed in on goal.
