We are aware of frustrations regarding away fans sourcing tickets in home areas. This negatively impacts the wider fan experience - preventing genuine home fans from supporting the team in person - and creates challenging situations for our stewards.

Ahead of our upcoming fixture against Manchester United, we would like to outline the measures we have in place to tackle this issue and remind fans how to report any concerns on a matchday.

Report it

Away fans are not permitted in home sections as per our Ground Regulations. Our stewards will deny entry to known away supporters and can eject any who are seated in home areas.

If you become aware of an away fan in a home section, please either speak to the nearest steward or send a message to our matchday text service - 07537404821 - along with your location and a brief description.

To support our stewards, we kindly ask that you do not try to intervene. The Club will monitor any reports in real-time through CCTV and our stewards, ensuring any action is taken in a safe and appropriate manner.

Use official Club platforms

Away fans often get tickets in home areas through unauthorised third-party websites. By using official Club platforms, you help limit this.

Season Ticket Holders - Use Ticket Exchange or Ticket Share if you can’t attend. When using Ticket Share, only pass your ticket to someone you personally know.

One Hotspur Members - Always buy match tickets through the Club or, if seeking to book a package option from overseas, through our approved resellers. This guarantees ticket validity and ensures you pay face value. If you can’t attend, contact the Club directly.

Passing tickets outside Club channels increases the risk of away fans in home areas and is not permitted.

Zero-tolerance for ticket touting

The unauthorised reselling of tickets prevents genuine fans from supporting the team in person. While it is only a small minority of individuals who attempt to resell tickets in this way, this is considered an offence under UK law as well as the Club’s own Sanctions and Banning policy.

As such, we operate a zero-tolerance approach towards ticket touting and take the strongest possible action against those who sell their tickets unofficially – or attempt to do so. Sanctions can, and do, include indefinite Club bans.

Going forward, we will continue to identify ticket touts through measures which include: the monitoring of suspicious bookings, the investigation of fan reports, and the ongoing development of our technology. Supporters can report fraudulent or unofficial ticket listings directly to us at any time.

Matchdays have always been about fans coming together to support the team - thank you for helping us to keep it this way.
