Arrivals: Players predict each other's clothing choice with RIDICULOUS accuracy

Wed 19 February 2025, 17:40|Tottenham Hotspur

We asked our players to predict what their team-mates would be wearing when they arrived for training on Wednesday - and they were almost psychic!

The latest edition in our long-running arrivals series, the latest question we posed to our players as they arrived at Hotspur Way on Wednesday morning was quite a simple one - what will the next player to arrive for training be wearing?

And, quite incredibly, albeit not surprisingly giving how much time they spend together, the squad know each other's dress sense rather well...

Watch - Players predict their team-mates' attire

Guglielmo Vicario predicts Destiny Udogie's style

First up was Guglielmo Vicario and he was tasked with guessing what his compatriot and good friend Destiny Udogie would be wearing when he arrived for training.

"A jumper. 100 per cent," Vic said instantly. "It will be a leisure one for sure. Like always. He's so predictable."

And Guglielmo did not miss, absolutely nailing his prediction.

Here is how Destiny arrive - decked out with a jumper and leisure wear ✅

Destiny Udogie on Djed Spence

Our Italian full-back was then asked what he thought his fellow full-back Djed Spence would be wearing when he arrived at Hotspur Way.

"Simple tracky (tracksuit). Nothing crazy," he responded.

And Djed delivered to a tee...

Here is Djed arriving in a 'simple tracky' - nothing crazy! ✅

Lucas Bergvall on Dejan Kulusevski

Lucas Bergvall was next up and he was asked what his mate and compatriot Dejan Kulusevski would be wearing.

And Lucas went a step further than just outlining Deki's fit - he even guessed the brand of clothing he would be wearing.

"Stone Island, probably - his favourite brand," he said, confidently.

Getting the badge in, Deki (below) arrived at our Enfield training base in Stone Island cargo trousers.

James Maddison on Brennan Johnson

Our match-winner on Sunday, James Maddison, was then asked what his good friend Brennan Johnson would be wearing when he arrived at training base - and Madders had all the details!

Not only did he name the type of clothes the Wales international would be wearing, but he also predicted such niche details like the length of the zip on Brennan's expected hoodie and that he would have his hood up.

"I'm going to go... some sort of baggy bottoms and, maybe like a zip-up hoodie, from top to bottom, quite plain. Maybe hood up," Madders nonchalantly explained.

And quite frighteningly, it was a PSYCHIC prediction by Madders as Brennan arrived in baggy bottoms ✅ a zip-up hoodie (zipped from top to bottom) ✅ and hood up ✅

Brennan Johnson on Archie Gray

With his hood still fully up as he stepped into reception, Brennan Johnson was asked what Archie Gray would arrive wearing.

"A black hoodie," Brennan immediately responded. "And no t-shirt. He just puts a hoodie straight on."

And it was almost perfect as Archie soon arrived donning a black hoodie. ✅ However, he had a shirt on underneath it... ❌

Antonin Kinsky on Brandon Austin

Next up was goalkeeping duo Antonin Kinsky and Brandon Austin with our recent arrival from Slavia Prague asked what he thought Academy graduate Brandon Austin's style would be for Wednesday morning.

"Tracksuit," Toni stated without a shadow of doubt in his voice.

And that Czeched out for Toni as Brandon did indeed turn up in a full tracksuit ✅

Brandon Austin on Fraser Forster

So, having seen one goalkeeper nail his prediction for a fellow shot stopper, how would Brandon fare when asked about the style of another member of the goalkeeping union at Hotspur Way, Fraser Forster?

Well, there was literally no doubt in Brandon's mind what the man from the north east would be wearing on a chilly February morning - just a black t-shirt.

"Black t-shirt, black shorts," he fired back at the question. "Black t-shirt for sure. Longline."

Temperatures may still be in the single digits but the man from Hexham did not disappoint as he wandered into the building clad in just a black t-shirt.

Yves Bissouma on Pape Matar Sarr

Finally, it was the turn of Yves Bissouma to predict what his fellow central midfielder Pape Matar Sarr would be rocking when he arrived in Enfield on Wednesday.

"I think he's going to wear some smashing things," he smiled.

Yes, Yves went for a rather open prediction for the Senegal international but, to be honest, we can't really say that he didn't absolutely nail the prediction.

What a smashing outfit, Pape! ✅
