Russell-Denny move agreed

We are delighted to announce the signing of Reiss-Alexander Russell-Denny from Chelsea.

The central midfielder, 18, joins our Academy, signing a contract which will run until 2028.

Born in Reading, he joined Chelsea in the Under-8s and progressed through the age groups, playing and scoring against us over recent seasons.

He was part of the Blues' squad that lifted the Under-18 Premier League Cup in 2021/22 and also helped them win the Under-18 Premier League's southern division last term, captaining the team on several occasions.

This season, he has scored three goals in nine appearances for Chelsea's Under-21s in the Premier League 2.

On the international stage, he represented England at the Under-17 World Cup in November, 2023, and has since played for the Young Lions at Under-18 and Under-19 levels.
