Ange Postecoglou has revealed Dejan Kulusevski could feature in next Thursday's Europa League quarter-final return leg with Eintracht Frankfurt.
Having been sidelined for the last few weeks through injury, Deki is set to return to training over the next few days and Ange is hopeful he will be back involved when we head to Germany next week.
One of our star performers this season, Deki has missed the last six weeks with a foot injury but now, with it all to play for in Frankfurt on 17 April after Thursday night's 1-1 draw at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, there is a chance we could be boosted by the return of our influential Swedish forward as we bid to book a place in the competition's last four.
However, it looks like the game will come too soon for Kevin Danso who is continuing his recovery from a hamstring injury.
Speaking to TNT Sports after the draw with the German outfit, Ange revealed, "It's touch and go. The idea with Deki and Kevin Danso is they are due to start training with the team, if not the end of this week, tomorrow or early next week, I don't think they are a possibility to start but Kulusevski has a chance to be involved."
