We are delighted to announce that Eleanor Heeps has signed a new contract with the Club, which will run until 2028.

Arriving from Liverpool in August, 2021, where she spent five years in their academy, the young shot stopper has impressed in a breakthrough season in our colours.

The 21-year-old was handed her competitive debut for the Club in a 1-0 win over Aston Villa in the Subway Women’s League Cup in November, 2024, where she preserved a clean sheet to help us top our group and qualify for the next round.

After impressing with an assertive performance against Villa, Eleanor then made her first Barclays Women’s Super League start in the 2-1 win over Everton at Brisbane Road in December.

In total, she has featured in six games for us in all competitions across this campaign, with two in the WSL, three in the Women’s League Cup, and one in the Adobe Women’s FA Cup.

Her impressive displays this term were also recognised outside of the Club, with Eleanor receiving a maiden call-up to the England Under-23s squad in February and was involved with the Young Lionesses for the April international break.
