Our quarter-final tie is on a knife edge as we face Eintracht Frankfurt in the second leg in Germany this evening with the aggregate score locked at 1-1 - here, Rob Daly takes another look at the side currently third in the Bundesliga.

"Eintracht Frankfurt made few changes to their team at the weekend - and with home advantage tonight, will they be more expansive than in the first leg? A decision around the goalkeeper and tactics for keeping one Spurs’ star quiet are key..."

Marshalling Maddison
In the first leg last week, there was a concerted effort to stifle James Maddison.
Ellyes Skhiri followed him all over the pitch and did win the ball from Spurs’ number 10 to set away Hugo Ekitike for the opening goal.
It was an excellent pass up to the striker too, who showed his quality to cut inside and score.
However, the very moment Skhiri lost his man - he was punished. Replays show the panic from the Tunisia international as he sees Maddison had evaded his attention in the area and rushes over to try and tackle.
But it was too late - as Maddison smartly weaved to the byline before setting up Pedro Porro for 1-1.

Eintracht Frankfurt beat relegation-threatened Heidenheim 3-0 on Sunday, with head coach Dino Toppmöller refraining from making too many changes.
The back four, from the first leg, was left untouched but Fares Chaibi, Oscar Hojlund (brother of Manchester United striker Rasmus) and Can Uzun came in to refresh midfield.
Limited weekend rotation wasn’t too much of a surprise given Frankfurt are still fighting for a Champions League spot.
It meant a cameo from the bench for key creator Mario Götze, who has become more involved around the penalty area since Omar Marmoush’s departure to Manchester City.
First leg scorer Hugo Ekitike grabbed a goal and assist against Heidenheim too, with Toppmöller asking the French striker whether he felt fit to start that game.
“He said that he feels good and is physically ready. Then, there was no question for me not to start him."
Kaua over Kevin?
Germany international goalkeeper and club legend Kevin Trapp missed the first leg due to a shin injury, but understudy Kauã Santos made superb saves to keep out Heung-min Son, Maddison and Micky van de Ven during a second half which saw Spurs pepper the Frankfurt goal.
"I think I did well,” was his own modest assessment, but others were more forthcoming.
Team-mate Arthur Theate spoke of the confidence with which he played for a keeper so young (22), while legend Lothar Matthäus, on German TV, called his saves ‘world class’ adding they can ‘completely rely’ on him.
The Brazilian models his game on compatriot, and idol, Ederson - while Trapp has been supportive from the touchline saying: “I have to say that Kauã is doing very well. In training you can see what kind of talent he is and how much potential he has. He helped the team succeed.”
Toppmöller was non-committal after the first leg, saying the question is ‘difficult to answer’ about whether Trapp comes back in if he’s fit to play - however, at the time of writing, that looks unlikely.

Micky van de Ven and Destiny Udogie, both seen cramping up in the second half against Frankfurt last week, were rested at the weekend.
While selection in the full-back positions are difficult to call right now, Udogie looked back to his effective best in the first leg - so one imagines both come straight back in along with Rodrigo Bentancur (a used sub on Sunday).
Given Pedro Porro has started the last two, perhaps Djed Spence will move from left-back to right-back to keep everyone as fresh as possible.
Kevin Danso is back after injury and available - but skipper Heung-Min Son misses out due to a foot injury, a blow for Ange Postecoglou.
Dejan Kulusevski’s earlier-than-expected return from the bench against Wolves was a welcome sight - but would he be ready to start? Ange has already suggested not.
It’s been a while since we’ve seen the Maddison-Kulusevski combination in the central attacking midfield positions for Spurs, a time during which the team were playing their best football, so perhaps we can expect to see that at some point.
It’s Spurs at their boldest - and perhaps that is needed headed to Germany in search of the result of the season.
