Brennan Johnson hit a major landmark tally in his professional career on Sunday afternoon as he registered his 50th goal in English league football.
Grabbing a brace in to power us through to a 3-1 win over Southampton at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, they were goals 49 and 50 in English league football for the forward.
An arrival from Nottingham Forest in the summer of 2023, Brennan scored his first league goal in League One while on loan at Lincoln City, striking in a 2-0 home win over Plymouth Argyle.
He scored his first 10 league goals all in all that campaign as Lincoln earned a spot in the 2020/21 Play-Off Final at Wembley.

Returning to parent club and boyhood club Nottingham Forest at the end of that campaign, he scored 16 goals in 50 Championship appearances for the Reds to ultimately help them return to the Premier League for the first time in 23 years with a Play-Off Final victory over Huddersfield in May, 2021.
He then scored a further eight goals in the league for Forest as they secured survival in the top flight in the following season before moving to north London in the August.
So far, he has scored 16 goals for us in the top flight, with his first coming away at Wolves in November, 2023.
His goals against Southampton also saw him edge past the 15-goals mark for the campaign, 20 goals for us and 10 Premier League goals in a single campaign. It is the first time he has reached double figures in the top flight in sole season while he is just the 22nd player ever to score 10+ goals for us in a Premier League campaign.
