Our Under-21s are back in action tonight (7 April) as they travel to Sunderland in our penultimate Premier League 2 fixture of the season.

Wayne Burnett's side can no longer qualify for the end of season play-offs, but will continue to push for a respectable finish in the table.

Here's everything you need to know ahead of the clash with the Black Cats...

Highlights from our win over Blackburn last time out

How to follow

During the game, we'll keep you up to date on all the action in the Spurs Official App and via our Academy social channels on X and Instagram.

A full match report will be available after the final whistle.

Video highlights will also be available online from Tuesday morning.

Due to Premier League broadcast rules, this match will not be streamed live.

The opposition

Sunderland come into this one 12th in the table, having picked up a point in their goalless draw with Nottingham Forest on Friday night at the Stadium of Light.

The Black Cats started their season with a 1-1 draw in the Tyne-Wear derby, before emerging victorious from the Wear-Tees derby, beating Middlesbrough 3-2 at home.

Highlights have included a 6-0 drubbing of Derby County in Premier League 2 and a 7-0 demolition of Huddersfield in the Premier League Cup, also picking up notable wins over Manchester United (5-2) and Arsenal (2-1), but they come into this one having won just one of their last six games in all competitions.

Graeme Murty's side were also knocked out of the National League Cup in the group stage, finishing sixth in Group C with four points from four games, and were also narrowly eliminated from the International Cup finishing third in Group B, just a point behind second-placed Bilbao who progressed to the knockouts.

Of their 33 competitive fixtures so far this season, they've won 14, drawn six and lost 13.

Ticket information

Ticket prices for this fixture are £3 for adults and £1 for Over 65s and Under 16s.

Tickets for this match are on sale online through the hosts, and are available in both standing and seated areas of the ground.

Please note, there is no dedicated away end for this fixture and all tickets are unreserved.

What kit will we be in?

We'll be in our away kit for this one, light blue striped shirts, blue shorts and light blue socks, while our goalkeeper will be in all-yellow.

Sunderland will be in their traditional red and white striped shirts, with black shorts and white and red socks, with their keeper in an all-green kit.

Ref Watch

Richard Aspinall is the man in the middle. He was fourth official when Josh Keeley and Jamie Donley beat Wrexham at the Racecourse Ground in February.

He also took charge of our 2-0 Premier League Cup win over Peterborough United back in November, 2023.

He'll be assisted by Stephen Rushworth and Ryan Aldred, while the fourth official is Matthew Malton.
