Our players have reacted after last night's late, late win over Coventry City in the Carabao Cup.
Manager Ange Postecoglou named a much-changed side to take on the Sky Blues at the Coventry Building Society Arena, and the boys had to fight back from going behind to progress into the fourth round for the first time since 2021/22.
Brandon Thomas-Asante fired the hosts into the lead just after the hour mark, but Ange's substitutes made the perfect impact, with Djed Spence starting a neat passing move, the ball eventually found Dejan Kulusevski who returned it to Djed, and the full-back poked his effort home from 10 yards out.
Then in stoppage time Rodrigo Bentancur won it back on the halfway line and played a perfectly weighted ball through to Brennan Johnson, who charged into the penalty area and tucked it into the bottom left corner to complete the turnaround.

"Home is where the heart is. I'm so proud and privileged to be a Coventry City academy graduate. As I've got older I've realised how much Coventry means to me. My place of birth and whole childhood into early adult life. Was a super special feeling to play in this city again with all my friends and family there (most wanting me to lose. 😂) Good luck for the rest of the season and beyond. Forever grateful @Coventry_City PUSB 💙"
