Internationals | Radu's Romania continue perfect record in UEFA Nations League

Radu Dragusin played the full 90 minutes as Romania continued their 100 per cent start to the 2024/25 UEFA Nations League on Monday.

Romania left it late for a 3-1 win - they needed two goals in the final five minutes to make it two wins in two in UEFA Nations League League C Group 2 as Radu earned his 19th cap.

Staying in the UEFA Nations League, Manor Solomon, on loan at Leeds, started for Israel with Destiny Udogie a second half substitute and Guglielmo Vicario remaining on the bench as Italy won the League A Group 2 clash 2-1 in Budapest. Destiny came on for his fifth cap on 71 minutes as Italy made it two wins in two to top the group.

Switching to Africa Cup of Nations qualifying, Pape Matar Sarr was a late substitute as Senegal beat Burundi 1-0 to top Group L.

In friendly action, Archie Gray came off the bench after 72 minutes as England Under-21s beat Austria 4-1 at Luton.
